Ingredients

  • 1 1⁄2 c flour
  • 1 c trade aid cane sugar
  • 1⁄3 c trade aid cocoa
  • 1 t baking powder
  • 1 t baking soda
  • 1⁄4 t salt
  • 1 T lemon juice
  • 1 t vanilla essence
  • 1⁄3 c trade aid olive oil
  • 1 c water

Instructions

Stir together the first six ingredients, Add the next four ingredients all at once and mix. 

Pour into well greased 20 cm pan and bake at 180 for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
